In Darmstadt and Birlinghoven the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT has a staff of 249 employees and research assistants (December 2024).

Operating Budget

In 2023 operating expenses of all the Institute's parts amounted to a total of €29,9 million (in 2022: €25,7 million).
