Jeremy Nissim Issacharoff is an Israeli diplomat and has been Israel's Ambassador to Germany since August 29, 2017. Jeremy Issacharoff joined the diplomatic service in 1982, working among other things as an advisor to Benjamin Netanyahu during his tenure as Israel's UN Ambassador (1986-1989). He later advised the Israeli Embassy in Washington.
Between 2003 and 2008 Issacharoff was a member of the UN Advisory Committee on Disarmament, and between 2010 and 2014 he was Ambassador for Strategic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where his responsibilities included disarmament and Iran. From 2014 to 2017, he served as Deputy Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On April 4, 2017, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin appointed him Ambassador of the State of Israel to Germany.
